As media and technology continue to rapidly shift and evolve, community media centers are challenged to demonstrate our value to our communities. How can we use branding and messaging strategies to not only shape our image externally, but also to help refine how we think internally about our programs and services? We often think about our work through the lens of “How” and “What”. In this session, we’ll challenge ourselves to think about “Why” we do our work, and how looking through that framework can influence how we are perceived and how we make programmatic decisions and choices.
